Description

1989 Modulus Graphite SPX 5-string bass in good condition, especially for its age. The bass features a beautiful aquamarine finish over a figured maple top with the famous Modulus patented Carbon Graphite neck! The pickups are EMG active J-Bass, with an EMG preamp. The bridge is a heavy-duty Schaller, topped off with Gotoh tuners (which have faded).

The bass has some nicks, dings, wear marks and belt marks that are indicative of an instrument of it’s age, but is a great player with that thunderous Modulus Sound!! The bass will be shipped with a new Hardshell Case. The SPX Series are very hard to come by, as Modulus did not produce many of them.
